The band called Bluegrass Tradition lives up to its name. This successful bluegrass band has been a part of the Virginia/Carolina region for over twenty years. From its beginning as "The Boyd Bluegrass Tradition" featuring Posy Boyd and family, this unique band has enjoyed a notable mix of family and friends. In addition to members of the original Boyd family, Bluegrass Tradition has featured musicians over the years such as Sammy Shelor (Lonesome River Band--IBMA International Banjo Champion), John Bowman (Doyle Lawson, Alison Krauss, The Isaccs), Ronald Inscore (Lew Reid Band, Savanah Road, Kenny & Amanda Smith Band) Jimmy Edmonds (multi award winning fiddler and musical director of the famous Carolina Opry at Myrtle Beach) and Wesley Easter (award winning banjo player and owner/engineer of Eastwood Recording Studios).
